KS2 Teaching Assistant Required to start September.

 

 

Christ the King is a happy and vibrant school in Amesbury. We pride ourselves on our family ethos and strong supportive staff.

The governors of Christ the King are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work at this friendly, popular and thriving school.
The post holder will under the direction of the Teacher/s to generally support pupils in a mainstream school to access learning. We need an individual who is positive and enthusiastic about working with children and within a school environment. In order to provide the best quality support for our pupils, we need a practitioner who has:

 

• experience of working with children in KS2 in a school setting

• high expectations and can enthuse and motivate children through learning experiences
• the ability to form strong and supportive relationships
• a good knowledge of strategies for learning support, emotional & behavioural support
• a willingness to engage in personal professional development within a supportive staff team
• excellent interpersonal skills

You would be joining a committed team of staff who work together in a school community with children at the heart of everything we do.

NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent is desirable.

Hours of work:      Part time 15hrs a week Term time only 9.00 - 12.00pm

 

Contract type: Fixed Term for 1 year
